Usually chips and salsa are served within minutes of being seated. This time we had to ask for them. One couple ordered appetizers which were served as their meal. El Primo’s offers a Sunday brunch buffet with pricing for adults, seniors and children under a certain age. The foods on the buffet included spicy scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, French toast, tamales, breakfast tacos, enchiladas, beans, rice other Mexican dishes and assorted desserts. It would be hard to come away hungry. The only issue we had was not all of the food was warm. The steam table pan’s didn’t all work. The enchiladas and tamales were cool to the touch. Maybe the Sterno fuel canisters run out. I am willing to try El Primo’s again for their brunch.
This is an average texmex restaurant at best. Small portions, high prices, horrid service. In the 2 hours it took our party to get our food we saw our waiter 4 times. No refills, drinks took forever and no one in our party of 10 could get the waiter's attention in the fleeting seconds we saw him. When the food did arrive, only half arrived. Not half of our party's arrived... I mean half of each dinner arrived. It took 30 minutes to get the rest. Cold, minimal quality and they add an additional 20% for a tip into your check and an additional liquor tax. This waiter didn't earn 2% much less 20. Don't waste your time and money. There are several resturants in the area with quality wait staff that actually care about their patrons. However... if you have a lot of time, like cold food, don't want to be bothered by a waiter asking if you need a drink or a refill and you like paying twice the price for these things... then this is your place.
Not really worth the . Food and drinks were just ok nothing really special for the prices they charge. We came for early dinner 4:30 ish and requested a football game that is on regular tv, not an option. No one on staff could change a single channel on any of the 20 tv options. Then the wait for a drink or our check was unbelievably long. There might have been 30 people in all at the entire restaurant and just as many employees. Like I said food was just ok.
We had such an attentive server. Dylan was excellent, as was the food. We had amazing fajitas and taco salad. Will be back!!
The buffet itself is close to the front door. They seated us on the opposite side of the restaurant the furthest point from the buffet. To walk back and forth from there is ridiculous. There are empty tables literally adjacent to the buffet. When we asked to be moved closer, the manager said no, it was for the buffet ordering people which we were. The coffee was lukewarm, the scrambled eggs were way overcooked, the biscuits were hard, the omelet was mediocre. and too expensive. We won't have breakfast there again.
