Helados Handcrafted Ice Cream And Pops

I waited at the speaker for nearly 5 minutes before someone finally popped their head out the window to gesture for us to come up. It felt really unfriendly—no greeting, nothing. I ordered ice cream in a waffle cup, but after I paid, the girl returned to tell me they were out of waffle cups. When I asked what I could substitute, she said there was nothing available. She just handed me the ice cream, which was dripping everywhere, and then closed the window. I had to honk my horn to get her to come back for napkins. She tossed them to me and slammed the window shut. This was my third time here, and the staff has always been rude.

My family and I really enjoy coming here. The food, service, and atmosphere are always excellent! The cream pops are a favorite with my kids. The nachos Mexicanos are simply irresistible, and I can't even begin to describe how delicious the escamocha is!

This ice cream shop is fantastic! They also offer delicious Mexican snacks and dishes, including nachos, aguas frescas, fresh lemonade, and much more.

The place could be cleaner. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall ice cream shop that uses fresh ingredients to create delicious, cold treats right on site.

When I arrived, the menu looked amazing, so I also treated myself to chocolate-covered bananas with pecans and some churros. Coming from El Paso, Texas, which is right at the border with Mexico, these treats are a big part of my childhood, and I'm quite particular about them! But let me tell you, the elote was fantastic! The corn was sweet and flavorful, topped generously, and they even used homemade chile—not just Valentina! The chocolate-covered banana with pecans was a refreshing and delicious way to cleanse my palate after the elote, and the churro was delightful as well. It was crispy and fried to perfection on the outside while remaining warm and soft on the inside, not hard or stale like I've had at other places. I was completely satisfied with everything I ordered! The girl at the drive-thru was extremely friendly, quick, and attentive. She made sure to ask if I needed anything else and ensured that I had plenty of chile on my elote. Thank you, Helados! I can't wait to come back with my whole family to try your ice cream and more of your delectable treats!
