The dish I ordered cost $38 before tax, and while it was very tasty, it's nice to indulge in a fancy dinner every now and then. I noticed in another review that the person received a complimentary dessert for their birthday. I went with a friend to celebrate our birthdays, and although the hostess asked us if we were celebrating something special and I mentioned our birthdays, we didn't receive a free dessert. I'm not quite sure how that works. On a positive note, the bread is served with free refills, and it was delicious, especially with the butter and that small house-made spread that accompanied it—I'm not sure what it's called, but it was great!
We went to Ernies for a birthday dinner, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely, and the waiting staff were friendly and very helpful. Since it was my birthday, we received a complimentary dessert, which was a chocolate cake that I had to share. I'm glad I did because it was rich and delicious! I ordered the scallops for my main course, and they were perfectly cooked. My husband had the best burger he’s ever had and really enjoyed it, while our daughter had half a chicken that she loved. There was so much food that we had to take some home. The only minor downside was the baked brie appetizer; while it tasted great, we were expecting the cheese to be larger than what we received. This is just a small complaint. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend Ernies for a night out.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Although it shares a parking lot with the casino, the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a stunning atmosphere. The cocktails are expertly crafted, and the food matches that high standard of flavor. It's a delightful dining experience in Manteca, with prices comparable to Morton's. If you're celebrating a special occasion in the area, this spot will definitely provide you with a memorable meal to enjoy.
This place is a hidden gem. I had the New York steak (medium rare) w/ a tray of sauces; Steak, Chimmichuri, horseradish. Pages are ordered separately, I have Brussels sprouts, carrots, potatoes. I think the drink I had was one.... Cuba Libre. Great, great, great, food. Update My second trip. I took my wife for my birthday. I had the NY Strip Steak and psn Seared Scallops. This time we tried a wedge salad, French onion soup and a few new drinks. Everything was great.
Best restaurant experience we have had in a while, from the friendly and accommodating staff to the delicious drinks and food. We started with the birthday cake martinis, then the French onion soup as an appetizer. My husband got the rib eye steak with creamed spinach and potatoes. I ordered the king salmon with crab fried rice and carrots. They are also kid friendly which is a huge plus. We will be back.
