Subway - Manteo

The Outlaw sub was tasty, but there were a couple of problems. The sandwich was dry and could use more chipotle sauce, and when they toasted it, it made the bread hard on the ends. They should work on perfecting the toasting method and reconsider the amount of sauce they put on the subs.

Recently, a colleague was attacked by a customer who threw a sub in her face at this restaurant. Despite this, she bravely continued her work, including taking out the trash alone at night. It is concerning that the restaurant does not prioritize the safety of their employees.

Really glad they were open, and their staff was really nice. Almost removed a star, though, because my salad was the smallest I've ever gotten from any Subway I've ever ordered from. But I was just so thankful for a sane place to sit and eat that I forgave it. She did spend a good deal of time picking through the spinach to make sure she got all of the wilted leaves out, so that was pretty impressive of her. Not sure what was up with that batch of spinach but it sounded like that's not a normal issue, so I won't count it against her or the store.

We stopped by last night and had a fabulous young woman made our sandwiches! She was all alone and working as hard and fast as possible!!! She looked on the verge of tears! We tipped her well and I hope the others did too!
