Ok here we go.. You get a zillion option of hotels in mantralaya, ignore them. Visit this hotel. It's right next to ATM booths. Don't get confused by the looks. Visit them, looks little old and unhygienic but it makes best of dishes in the area. Take dosa, Pongal, idly all will fulfill your hunger. Look nowhere else and go and grab some tasty food. Cleanliness can be improved but this is a pilgrimage place and they do the best they can. It's very much affordable like 40rs.

This is my go to breakfast place when ever i visit Mantralaya. I have been visiting this place at least from 15 years now and the taste is pretty much same and unchanged. All the items they serve are absolutely delicious. My favourite is Pongal and Upma. The chatni is just awesome and blends well with other dishes. Prices are reasonable It's rite infront of temple main gate

Certainly the best restaurant in Mantralayam though it may be small. But the food served here is very tasty and enjoyable. We have been taking tiffin here for a few decades whenever we visit Mantralayam but still find the quality and quantity are very decent and not changed over the years. No need to ask for second opinion about it! Famous on the lines of MTR of Bengaluru, this local MTR is also very popular. The price is very cheap. For example Two idlies cost just 30/ , two Vadas, Masala Dosa, or Pongal cost Rs.40/ . Nothing more than Rs.40/ Coffee, Tea or milk is only Rs.10/ . Please see the price list in photos. The Sambhar, Chutney or Masala with Dosa are very tasty to relish. Only disadvantage is it is self service and people have to stand and eat. That's no problem, many seem to say from the way they visit and enjoy the food. Do visit this place and your family and Friends would appreciate it!

This is one of the oldest n best Tiffin center in Mantralayam.Its located quite opposite to the main temple entrance arch. It's a small Darshini type, serve Yummy, Hygienic and Hot tiffin. Idli, Upma n Pongal are must try. Prices are reasonable, whenever I visit, I will definitely have Upma n Coffee here. Most of the times it will be crowded. It's all Self Service and need to stand n have food. They serve really fast.

Located exactly opposite to temple. One of the oldest tiffin centers in Mantralayam, we used to have breakfast items on our visit. Still standing strong, attracts lots of visitors from varied places.. All items are offered at affordable prices. Can except delay in service as most of times it would be crowded. Worth visiting.
