Bourbon Barrel Saloon - Mantua

I am leaving this for you because I participate in the Ride ‘n’ Roll, where motorcycle enthusiasts ride across the state of Ohio to 170 plus venues all summer long. If you are participating in the 2023 Right ‘N’ Roll you will not be able to get this stamp. If you go to the door they only have a piece of loose leaf paper tape to it with a handwritten note saying “closed for repairs”. If you look through the windows it looks like the place has no intentions of opening back up. This place was actually pretty impressive when it was open, it had a great bourbon selection and the service was very friendly. The issue I have is there is a note on the door saying that they are closed for repairs when we find out from a neighboring bar they are actually closed permanently. Stopped by for wing night a few times. Went on just short of 700 mile trip and had wings on my mind all day. So made plans to meet up on my last leg of the trip,,, they were closed Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Wings

I left this review last week. Today much to my surprise the owner contacted me through Facebook Messenger. He has offered a free dinner when I come back through. Rarely in today's marketplace. Do you ever find a business that cares enough to look someone up and to let them know that they will make it right. Thank you, Christopher! Can you imagine paying $4.99 for a quarter of a cup of coleslaw? I ordered coconut shrimp that was supposed to come with marmalade dipping sauce and it came with regular cocktail sauce. The side salad was the size of a cereal bowl and that's okay. Not complaining about that price but it is a little high. But I have to tell you I'm still bent about paying $5.00 for a quarter of a cup of coleslaw. My bad, because I did not ask to see the menu again after I received my shrimp.
