Sweet Secret Cake House - Manurewa

This restaurant is a lovely and affordable spot for delicious cakes. While their mudcakes are popular, we only tried the pandan kaya cake, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It resembled a seri muka, but with cake instead of sticky rice. The flavor was delightful. I think it would have been even better if the sponge had a bit more texture, perhaps with some grated coconut mixed in. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy beautifully presented and tasty cakes.

The cake was incredibly delicious and wonderfully moist! The staff were friendly and offered excellent service.

The service is great and the cakes absolutely delicious. We’ve just enjoyed a mud cake for a 21st and the cake was cooked to perfection in flavour and texture and decorated simply but beautifully. And it’s not our first time buying from here and they are consistently good every time.
