La Margarita - Manzanillo

This space is now totally empty! I noticed this when I passed in front 2016-11 to now 2017-04. Sorry to see it go because it had a great location on Playa Miramar.

The view here is beautiful and the food is wonderful! Our waiter was very friendly. The chips were good and the pico was great. I had shrimp tacos as they were by far the best meal so far!

We have been going to Manzanillo for years, always staying at Playa de Oro. Margarita's is right across the street from the hotel. Between my husband and I and our traveling companions, we have eaten most everything on their menu. There hasn't been a thing that wasn't enjoyed except maybe for the fish stew with the fish head floating in it. I guess the flavor was great, it was the head that kinda ruined the dish. You can not beat the ambience. Margarita's juts out over the ocean so you can hear the surf roaring and splashing. It has a thatched, domed roof, so you can feel the tropical breezes as well as watch the sun set, if you get there early enough. The wait staff is attentive, the bathrooms are clean, and the prices are fairly reasonable, especially since as guest of the hotel, we receive a 15% discount. Their Crema de Poblano Chili Sopa is especially wonderful

We decided to try this place on our last night in town. I wish we tried it earlier, what great place, you have got to try the Snapper. Also if you want a nice couples place to eat, Try La Margarita.
