La Becasse Mi - Maple City

Fantastic experience. Food was amazing. I missed the cattle burgundy, but the tender was still brilliant. Had a great Valentine's Day experience

We had another wonderful meal in La Becasse. We started with our three children. The staff was so friendly and accommodating with the children. The food was exceptional again. We had the Cassoulet and the beef-tenderoin. We will surely return whenever we are near Maple City.

We always have an unforgettable time in La Becasse, it is unique setting and incredible food offering a perfect place to escape in any season. Great wine list that supports well with the local ingredients that all of excellent waiting staff. Consistently wonderful.

We had a lovely early dinner for two at La Becasse on New year’s Eve. We were seated at a cute little table for two in the back which was a little drafty, but the ambiance was actually cozy and quaint. Began with a Cosmo for me and a martini for my husband. He enjoyed that martini with beau cheese stuffed olives so much, he ordered another one. We love the escargot here, but decided to try out the appetizer crab cakes which were on special. They turned out to be a bit fishy and the texture wasn’t lumpy — a bit of a disappointment. Next came the side salad that is included with the entree. It was fresh and yummy. Both of us ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the Mahi Mahi entrees with beurre blanc sauce and beautifully cooked veggies over rice. For dessert we ordered a chocolate cake with ice cream which was good. The coffee was piping hot and our waitress was generous with refills. Overall, I would rate our experience an 8 of 10. We had an efficient waitress who took care of us and plan to return. It was a beautiful evening.

I have never been disappointed by a meal at La Becasse, and this time was no exception. Service is always friendly and attentive, and the food and wine are always excellent. A five star meal that isn’t inexpensive but certainly a fraction of the price you would pay for the same meal in a large city. It is always a treat to come here.
