Bella Vita Restaurant - Maple Ridge

We so enjoyed our meal at this place, we will definitely be back when in Maple Ridge again. All six of us enjoyed our meals. Service was friendly and with prompt refills of water, etc. Daily specials were tempting and quite a good value for $9 to $12.00/plate. Great menu. I had greek souvlaki which was awesome, but missed the pita bread to go with the tzatziki. She brought some warm buns near the end of our meal. There is a beautiful and romantic fireplace on one side and would be perfect for a date night meal.

I found that the food was quite good, it's really the atmosphere that makes it. Service was good, and pricing was what I expected. If you want the decent food with the upper end kind of atmosphere, this is a good choice. Another place I'm going to review in town with the same kind/quality of food is a bit cheaper, but a more casual atmosphere. It just depends what you want. I'd take a date or a business guest here, I'd take my kids or friends to the other place.

We had good drinks and fast service and our food was well priced and good as well. There were a lot of different appies and a good variety of entries from pizza, lamb and there specialty as far as i'm concerned the schnitzel. I had the peppercorn sauce on mine at it was very delicious. I must repeat myself that the service was very attentive and our server has friendly. We asked if she could get us a couple of new chairs as the foam in ours was so well worn we felt like we were sitting on plywood. I think it's the same chairs we used to sit on 30 years ago +. Time for a redo!

If you like white cloths & napkins & a nice setting Bella Vita fits the bill. On a recent visit I selected from the special three course menu choosing coconut shrimp followed by a delicious piece of glazed salmon with a tasty lemon sauce & vegetables & finished with tiramisu - a generous slices of delicious cake ending a very satisfying meal.Spouse enjoyed the lamb chops & lamented there were only four when five were mentioned on the menu.Even though it was a Friday night we didn't feel rushed & received attentive service. Recommend making a reservation.

Stopped in for a friends family birthday dinner of 35 people. The service was friendly but the food was barely mediocre. Neptune schnitzel was tasteless and dry. The sauce didn't add anything to the meal. The interior needs to be renovated and brought into recent times and could use a good scrubbing!
