Had a Birthday dinner celebration at this place and was very happy with our visit. The place was not busy at that time and got seated right away. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Foods we’ve ordered were all great and was very happy with my curly fries and calamari. I was given a free sliced of Red Velvet cake for dessert.
I was excited for dinner but was ultimately disappointed. The steak sandwich was cold and full of gristle, but the Caesar salad was decent.
After visiting my nephew from the hospital , we all decided to stopped at the Black Sheep for early dinner and avoid the rush hour traffic , only ten mins drive from the hospital, out side of the building in a very relaxing neighbourhood surrounding with lot of tress and plenty parking space , inside very spacious , cozy , friendly , airy Pub atmosphere , not too busy , menu is huge , plus they have daily special for sure is something for every one , price is excellent , I order the chicken wing and calamari to share , good portion and not oily , uncle love his seafood pasta variety of seafood with tasty sauce , my brother's Fisherman pasta not too spicy lot of flavour , I love my beef rib not over saucy perfect for my liking over all , it is a Pub food , do not set your expectation too high , it is nothing compared before the pandemic ,we all very full and happy with the food and friendly service ! if you around the area , stop in and try it out , amazing tasty beef ribs ! not many restaurants put it on their menu
My friend who lives in Maple Ridge took me to this Pub. was very nice. watress was very attentive and provided good service. food was good. I am from Vancouver and wow i noticed the prices at this pub were $4-5 cheaper for same things in Vancouver. Cheaper to live outside the big city.
