Old World Gingerbread Village

Horrible place! We went in very hungry and ready for a great meal . We sat there for 15-20 minutes without them even taking our order. The restaurant was not busy, and the waitress was chatting with everyone instead of getting our order. We asked another waitress when we could order and she said she'll get there when she gets there, so we got up to leave our waitress I think) said oh I'm coming, we said it's OK we're starving then another lady decided to fight with me! Never will we ever step foot in that place again! Besides that, the place was loaded with flies.

HUGE portions! Love the food here! They even have a binder they pass around with history of the Walton Area!

The food and service were great! Will be stopping here again. We sat outdoors with our dog, and loved the plants and music.

Gingerbread Stuffed French Toast Need I say more....? I do. The owner of this gem in the woods is an absolute delight. She was our waitress and the other staff working were also helping with orders. They were all just a delight to be around. The food was homemade and felt like a summer breakfast with your grandma cooking for you. Lots of fresh treats to eat in or take to go. The little cottage like restaurant was beautifully decorated and quite interesting. The people sitting around were friendly talking with one another's tables about the food. Do not pass this by. Even if you're not hungry passing by, stop in and you will be.

We took a large group here for lunch after hiking nearby and had an awesome experience! The food was amazing and the wait staff was incredible. Between the milkshakes, floats, lemonades, burgers, sandwiches, and salads, everything was fantastic. Would highly recommended this place!
