King I Thai Cuisine - Mar del plata

Came here because of the reviews, big mistake, food seem to be premade and bottled and just like any cheap chain, not a single Asian person inside or of staff, so that was a red flag. My curry was laden with sugar and unedible, the waitress not as nice as most people we have encountered in the city, proclaimed she didn’t like curry. Big disappointment if what you are looking for is lovingly prepared Thai food, authentic.

Today we ordered Bangkok Kapow. It had a partially fertilized fried egg in it This is very unusual for them… Thai people made like partially fertilized fried eggs, but the average American does not like that or expect that in a fried egg. They had to have seen it when cooking the egg…

Overpriced for what you get. I ordered crab rangoon and pad kee mao. The rangoon were great (which is why it gets an extra star) but the noodles were so bland. There was no sauce. The vegetables were undercooked. For how much I paid I was expecting much much more. I will not be returning.

Food was okay, and our waitress was very nice, but the general service experience was lackluster. The hostess spoke in a very low mumble and the waitress wasn’t in the dining room often, so it was hard to get refills and we were very slow to receive our check/have the check picked up.
