Snarf's Sandwiches - Mar del plata

Very unprofessional with a horrible attitude. Was going to wash hands before ordering food. Asked cashier for code and said no public bathrooms, only for customers. Which i responded polietly I was going to order after the restroom. It's very sad to see people lacking basic kindness. Will never come to eat here again.

We went to pick up and sandwich for lunch on the lawn near the Gateway Arch. Two 12” specialty subs (prime rib and BBQ), a pickle and potato salad cost $38. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. The fillings for the subs were good, but the bread (wheat) was not a favorite for us. Being the bread lover that I am, this was disappointing. Did the fillings make up for it? Almost! I would definitely try it again!

This establishment has and old white woman who works there who is rude and licks her fingers while counting the money AND fixing customers sandwiches. My mother and I decided to go there for the first time after my chemotherapy treatment, and we will NEVER be returning. That older employee proceeded to lick her fingers and hand my mother her change after we placed our order (We spent $63+ , but my mother and I were willing to let that slide. However, she then went to the bathroom to wash her hands and then LICKED her fingers before grabbing gloves to fix our sandwiches. My mother and I watched on in absolute HORROR as she picked up one of our sandwiches then touched the tomatoes to place on the sandwich. I immediately demanded our money back to which the old woman seemed to not understand that licking her fingers before fixing someone's FOOD is DISGUSTING and WRONG! To everyone who has ever received food poisoning from this establishment, I can see why. The health inspector needs to investigate this place IMMEDIATELY! My only regret is not recording her disgusting behavior.
