Kusina Ni Ingga - Maragondon

The restaurant offers delicious home-cooked meals that are made fresh and served hot. You can't go wrong with any of their soups. I've visited several times and have tried their bulalo and various sinigangs, and they consistently get it right, deserving of a review. As of October 30, 2021, the service has improved with more staff on hand, which means faster service. I usually dine indoors, but today we opted for outdoor seating, where there are also huts with tables. The sisig I ordered last time was great, but the chicharon bulaklak was too fatty and greasy. The calamares was decent, but I was disappointed with the halo-halo.

We were supposed to go to a coffee shop in Ternate for breakfast, but protocols prevented us from proceeding. Good thing Kusina ni Ingga was just along the highway, and it couldn't be missed. We ordered the tapsilog and the lechon kawali, which both tasted alright, considering that it was actually an unplanned breakfast. Special shoutout to the service quality of Ms. Noemi.
