Plaza Grill - Marathon

For years vacation in Marathon Key and we Marathoners have needed another great place for dinner! The Plaza Grill is elegant, with a cool atmosphere, a strong menu and a large bartender. We had lobster bites, a rare Sirloin, an excellent wine and a few perfectly dirty Martinis. It was a great night. The customer base was slow because the grill is still new and marathoners with what they know lol. We highly recommend to pack this place and show the local small entrepreneurs who had the intestine to start it that we appreciate the incredible work it takes to enjoy such a beautiful place for us.

We had a fantastic experience in Plaza Grill. There was a 50% discount wine glasses promotion of 5:30 6:30 when we went, and we liked the Pinot Grigio. We ordered the little cuffs and Tuna tataki as appetizers were both fabulous and I liked them better than my entree! Our table had the coconut crusted Snapper, NY Strip, chicken parm, and I ordered the cowboy crucible were all very good. I tasted some of the Snapper and it was cooked for perfection with a Tangy Mango salsa on the top. For Dessert we ordered a melted lava cake (although it was mostly solid) with espresso chip ice cream and a piece of key lime cake a NY-style cheese cake with blueberry compot is also available. The cake had a strong lime taste and we enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend the seafood from this restaurant as I found my steak to be a little overcooked, but still very tasty. We went to Plaza Grill several times and were never disappointed. The wine selection is fantastic and the cocktails are expertly made. With warm and friendly service, delicious and well prepared food (we absolutely love the steak and chocolate lava cake for dessert! , we will continue to visit here as it is a certain must for every local or holiday in marathon. One of our favorite spots. Very recommended!
