Pura Vida, Live Style - Marbella

Before we started our day we'd begin here. The empanadas and beer excellent! The owner and and wife very friendly and helpful

I have just returned from Marbella and discivered Pura Vida on the main street just past Burgerking. Matteous the owner and chef is a really nice guy. He will cook you anything even if it is not on menu. He makes a great coffee. Really nice place to spend an evening. He cooks an excellent steak. and prices are all reasonable.

I spend an afternoon here with my girlfriend and some of her work friends after she finished working in Marbella for her last shift. The main reason for choosing this one was because it was just around the corner from their workplace, more than anything else, but it also looked decent enough from the outside. We sat on the street terrace with a trattoria canopy overhead; it was comfortable, but we had to move a few tables around to fit all of us in which got us some annoyed expressions from other people in the bar. The staff didn't seem to mind though, and the waiter/barman was incredibly friendly. The music taste was questionable; mostly typical Spanish pop/club songs, with nothing particularly unique or enjoyable coming on. Drink prices were reasonable: not the cheapest, not the most expensive. For an expensive tourist town like Marbella, actually quite good price-wise. They also served decent enough sandwiches, as well as a varied few other bar dishes. It's not somewhere I'd go to regularly, but decent enough for a few hours of beer and snacks.

Service was great, had the best guacamole we’ve ever had, that and the hummus clearly homemade and the gambas pil pil was delicious too. Reasonably priced.

One of the best places to eat in Marbella, lovely food, Exquisite Argentineans empanadas !!!! I highly recommend this place.
