Asia Snack - Marburg

We went there as a company of 5 people and spent 30 euro on food as a whole. We gave a banknote of 50 euro to the waitress and were awaiting for change while figuring out between each other who still had to give me...back the money. The waitress probably thought we forgot that we paid her already and started pointing at another 50 euro banknote in my wallet. We thought she merely wanted us to give her 50 more cents so she could give us change, but no, she was determined to get this other banknote. We asked for the manager and asked if there were cameras inside and after a short argument she made an offended grimace, threw change on the table and went to clean the tables as if nothing had happened. It was a public holiday so we thought that maybe she was hoping that we were drunk, but we were not, and my friends saw her taking the money. My advice to you is to avoid this place at all costs!

The food is ok and they have good spicy sauce. However the so called Thai food is not really Thai authentic but a little Thai style at the most. The atmosphere of the restaurant should have an Asian design but is more like a canteen...and uncomfortable. The service is slow and not friendly. Iwill not go back and my Thai friend was actually very disappointed. If one goes there one just can expect a fast food feeling and Asian food cooked another way .

Nice spot for a nice meal. The beer is good, the food is ok, but the price is nice. I'd avoid beef dishes as the meat doesn't seem to be cooked as well as it could be. Chicken is okay, the sauces are good.
