Taverna Korfu - Marburg

I used to visit my parents in Greece frequently when they were stationed there several years ago, so I've always had a fondness for the people, culture and food of Greece. My visit to Taverna Korfu last week brought back wonderful memories of those trips. The owners made the best of the pandemic and redecorated and upgraded their restaurant beautifully. The food was so delicious; the Köfte on my mixed grill plate was like a time machine, taking me back to my favorite island taverna on the beach when I closed my eyes to savor it. Amazing! The Tzatziki was so tasty. The garlic lingered in my mask all the way home. The co-owner served us with such genuine care for our well-being. I felt like I was a welcome guest in her home. Chef Andreas also came out to make sure everything was to our liking without hovering. It was an incredible evening that I will long savor. Thanks so much for this gift. Can't wait to go back to Marburg and Taverna Korfu.

Delicious food try seafood, it's amazing. Thoughtful service and nice spacious multilevel interior, so you don't feel as you are in the middle of crowded square. Prices are in line with the quality of food and service.

The restaurant Taverna Korfu is a great place to eat very tasty Greek cuisine. It is famous for their fresh seafood. If you like to have a special meal, this is the best possible location for it. Enjoy your meal and have a nice time in the Taverna Korfu ! :

A personal reservation is not made 2 days before the hotel. Only places next to the toilet still free. A complaint about the counter was answered with the threat of fist strikes in the face. (An advert of the crime was left by me with Rücjsicht on my wife. Then throwing out through the back door

A very cozy restaurant. The restaurant specializes in fish dishes, you should remember when you think of meat dishes in a Greek restaurant, there are 4 meat dishes.The staff is very friendly, competent and flink.A pleasant visit.
