The Golden Lion - March

My family were lucky enough to enjoy a carvery last weekend that was absolutely delicious. We booked the conservatory for 30 of us for a birthday celebration. Andy and Christine are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely fresh veg and everyone commented on how beautiful the meat was. Will definatly be back.

Without doubt the most lovely owners, staff and homely atmosphere and the most amazing carvery you will ever find!

Worst experience I have ever witnessed from a pub/restaurant landlord. Rude and disrespectful to my wife. Never known someone to be so unprofessional. Behaviour I wouldn’t expect from a family restaurant owner. I will never be stepping foot back in this pub with my wife and daughter ever again even though I do only live a few doors away. Utterly disrespectful.
