Emerald Creek Ice-Creamery - Mareeba

The service at this restaurant is fantastic - very friendly. The ice cream and waffle cones are delicious, with a wide variety of sorbets and ice cream flavors to choose from. I highly recommend it.

The ice cream at this restaurant is good, but not outstanding. The raisins in the rum and raisin flavor tasted and had the same texture as dried sultanas straight out of the box. We've had better ice cream in Queensland, even on this trip. However, it's still a decent place to stop for a treat.

5 star ice cream. The lunch food is OK. Friendly staff but not the most efficient. Beautiful setting outside. Good range of local foodstuffs to buy.

Well worth visiting if you are in this part of the world, has the best icecream and sorbet I have ever tasted (and I've been a lot of places in the world, including Italy! . Also has good biltong, fudge, and coffee. Highly recommend!

Mid-way between Mareeba and Kuranda, this is a popular destination as it always seem busy. Covid meant numbers indoor ere limited. They have a good selection of tasty ice creams which are reasonably priced. Worth a stop if passing by.
