We had the most amazing dinner here pre-covid lockdowns. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The food was so good we couldn't stop ourselves even after we were full. We shared a few bottles of wine and really loved the experience. We left in one of those happy food coma dazes. Since they don't take reservations, we put our name in and when they mentioned the wait time we knew we had some time to run over to Al Campo wine garden for a pre-dinner drink. I can't wait to return one day.
Just had an excellent date-night at Stellina and I can't say enough nice things about this place! Whether you sit at a table or the bar, you're gonna have a great meal, great service, and the best conversation in town. I always refer visitors because it's the most authentic local dinning experience in Marfa. Hopefully you'll get Mary or Genevieve as your server. The only thing is, I still don't know what style to call it. Delicious, maybe?
The food was absolutely delicious (house bread and butter, roasted carrot soup, pork belly bruschetta, arancini, and chocolate mousse cake with whipped cream and cherry hibiscus sauce), the service was outstanding (thank you Genevieve), and the total cost including tip was reasonable at $65 for 3 people.
Excellent everything . the food was spectacular. my favorite was an eggplant dish. we ordered almost everything on the menu. the service is top notch too. the owners are there checking in as well, hosting everyone. i would come here again for sure the next time im in marfa. its a lovely town and this place is the embodiment of what this artist's colony represents
We returned to Marfa a week later with friends and ate dinner at Stellina again twice. Our friends liked it so much the first time, we went back the next night. Food and service was impeccable.
