The Hairy Marron - Margaret River

Wow just wow the homemade cakes are amazing. We embraced the cosy atmosphere on a cold wet winters day as we enjoyed coffee, cakes and hot chocolates for the kids. I would highly recommend this cosy cafe to hire a mountain bike after to check out the trails and burn off the cake calories. 10/10. Looking forward to visiting again next time we are in Margaret River.

This cafe is located in the best spot in Margaret River! Situated right next to the Margaret River at the bottom of the town center, it's just a quick walk over the bridge to Rotary Park and conveniently in the middle of the Margaret River Heritage walks. You can enjoy a meal or coffee before or after exploring the park or taking a hike along the bush trails. Arrive early in winter to witness the stunning sight of fog hovering over the river from the fantastic outdoor deck. The food is excellent, the coffee is delicious, and the staff are extremely friendly. A visit to this cafe is a must when in Margaret River, and you can even bring your dog to dine with you outside on the deck or in the covered outdoor areas, making it ideal for pet owners as well.

My son and I headed into Margaret River looking for some gloves and a new drink bottle before venturing out to find some fun Mountain bike trails. We popped into the Hairy Marron to have a look. The service we were provided was outstanding, all the time in the world, allowing my son to make sure he got the right pair of gloves. We were provided excellent advice also regarding how to get to the trails by bike, which trails to try and how to get back to where we were staying via river trails. We didn’t eat this time but the food did look very appetising and the drinks were cold and refreshing. We will be back.
