Mashawy Grill - Marianna

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant that serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I look forward to returning in the future. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was top-notch. I highly recommend trying dishes such as the Lamb Kabob, Salad, Lamb Chops, Grape Leaves, and Hummus. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100 for dinner.

I had a wonderful surprise when I discovered this hidden gem in Marianna. The atmosphere was nice, the people were friendly, and the Mediterranean food was fresh and delicious. I tried the falafel, seafood glabah, makrons, and fattoush - all of which were awesome. The Mashawy tea was to die for. I was in heaven. My family also enjoyed their meals. They offer vegetarian options including soup, salad, and entrees. The service was great for dining in.

Situated next to the Florida Caverns, we decided to visit this restaurant based on the positive reviews and we were not let down. The food was tasty and fresh, the service was efficient, and the owner took the time to ensure all the customers were happy. My husband and I ordered the two-person platter which included a variety of meats, while our three kids had the gyros and also enjoyed some of our platter. For dessert, we all had baklava and Nadya, which we absolutely loved. Despite living two hours away, we will definitely return to this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Did we eat at the same restaurant as all the people who left all the glowing reviews? The moussaka was different from any other I have had, and not in a good way. It had a base of potatoes with some sauce, very little meat in the sauce, and a couple of pieces of eggplant on top. The main ingredient was the potato. The rest of this entree consisted of rice with some potatoes in it, a miniscule portion of salad, two small pieces of pita bread and a small serving of hummus. Maybe this is what people in Marianna, Florida think Turkish food should be, but it does not compare to the Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants we patronize in the greater Philadelphia area.

Amazing food. Was a surprise when we walked in but it was great service and the limeade is so good and the food was delicious. There were nice tables as well.
