We were visiting the Sault with a group of friends and although my husband and I enjoyed our meals, we were very disappointed by the fact that in this day and age, gluten free pasta noodles of some sort were not available. To make matters worse, our server could not have been more indifferent regarding our dilemma. I fully understand that a restaurant may not want to make any gluten free claims but having gluten friendly options available would go a long way to helping those who do have celiac disease. Sadly, I would not recommend this restaurant to those who require gluten free or gluten friendly food options.Dietary restrictions: I would not recommend this restaurant to those who require gluten free or gluten friendly food options.
Hannah was our server and she was very pleasant and polite. Everyone enjoyed their meal and drinks. We all recommend North 82 and will return. THANKS AGAIN.
Got my favourite dish chicken souvlaki with Greek salad. Service was good and food came out quickly. We often eat here for work related lunches it never disappoints!
Went to North 82 last night. Decided to splurge and get the king crab for $69. Horrible decision. It was the driest crab I’d ever had. It was stuck to the shell, I had to battle to get it out. You could tell it had been frozen. They couldn’t even give enough butter for dipping. The garlic mashed potatoes had good flavour, but were stiff. The veggies, the 2 pieces of zucchini were probably the best part. The huge under cooked chunks of carrots had nothing on them. When the waitress asked how it was, I was honest and told her it was dry. She said something along the lines of “oh it shouldn’t be” and that was about the end of it. No offer of anything. No discount. No apologies from anyone. Needless to say I will not be back.
Service and atmosphere was pleasant but the food was horrible. Lobster was over cooked, cold, chewy, and fishy. The butter tasted off, like margarine. My stomach was turning for a couple of hour after that meal. Only thing that was good was the fries. Will never go back even if they reduced their ridiculously high prices.
