Asahi Japanese Steak Sushi - Marietta

Jack was an exceptional server! My group was quite lively, but he remained attentive, helpful, and courteous throughout our visit. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. I would rate him a perfect ten out of ten! As for kid-friendliness, he was incredibly patient with all the children and their special requests!

We exclusively visit for the sushi and prefer to sit in that section. The service is excellent, and the sushi chef is consistently fantastic.

I usually avoid sharing mediocre experiences, but I wasn't particularly impressed. My shoes kept sticking to the wooden floor, which was off-putting. I ordered sushi, and while the presentation was nice, the taste was just average. At $16.00 for a small roll, I questioned whether it was worth the price. In comparison, Thiacoon in downtown Marietta offers rolls that are twice the size, with fresher ingredients and a more skilled sushi chef. I hope this restaurant can improve in the future.

We went to Asahi Japanese Steak Sushi for a friend 's birthday dinner. It was your typical Japanese hibachi grill show and food. I had the teriyaki salmon and my husband had the New York steak. Our entrées included screamed rice, salad, soup, vegetables, and rainbow sherbet. The food was good, the show was good and it was a nice dinner party. They sang happy birthday to my friend and that involved a gong so it was a little loud. The parties in adjacent rooms were also celebrating birthdays so we heard the singing and the gong multiple times throughout our dinner.Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall shopping center.

We were rushed for a birthday dinner. It was sort of rude to get a comment about how people are waiting for the table before we were even able to get our checks to pay. I highly suggest some training on customer service. We were waiting on checks. Go get after your servers, not us. Plus, we were not even taking long or camping. We were ready to go but your server wasn’t.
