Loved this place! The food and drinks were fantastic, service was excellent and the ambiance was lively. We had the fried pickles, I had shrimp and grits with the smoked old fashioned. My son had a blt burger and we brought home the bayou shrimp scampi and beignets to my daughter. The price point was great for all that we got and the quality. We'll be back!

As a lifelong Mississippi resident, I have a deep appreciation for Louisiana and its incredible Creole cuisine. I ordered the red beans and rice along with a grilled chicken sandwich topped with bacon, while my husband chose the shrimp and grits. Let me tell you, those were hands down the best red beans and rice with sausage I’ve ever had—no exaggeration! They were so good that I struggled to finish the whole bowl, but I had to save some room for my chicken sandwich, which was also absolutely delicious. If you haven't visited this restaurant yet, I urge you to go as soon as possible! The manager is incredibly nice and attentive, checking in on every table. I truly love it here, and we will definitely be back!

My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, which were creamy with a nice cheesy flavor. The chicken and waffle dish was fairly standard, but the po' boy was excellent. The shrimp was well-seasoned, abundant, and the bread tasted fresh. The Nola oysters were incredible, packed with bacon and the blue cheese added a delightful extra layer of flavor. I wasn't a big fan of the Acapulco oysters, as they had too much red sauce for my liking. However, the smoke and mango drink was delicious. I would definitely return, especially for the Nola oysters!

I stopped by for a quick lunch and had the gumbo along with a house salad, which is one of the options along with Greek or Caesar. The salad was just the right portion and quite delicious. The gumbo, which is award-winning, was fantastic! The service was excellent too; they kept an eye on my drink and made sure it wasn’t running low. I’ll definitely be back very soon!

I was eager to try this restaurant after receiving some recommendations. However, we waited several minutes before being seated. Eventually, I had to signal a server to inquire about the wait time for a table. The server informed me that there were only three servers on duty and no host, so they would assist us when they could. Unfortunately, my family decided to leave. When restaurants are operating under these conditions, it’s likely that shortcuts are being taken in the kitchen, which may affect cleanliness and food quality. I would advise staying away until they manage to sort things out.
