On a Sunday after walking on the mtn. pretty busy, but at the bar square. florentine benedict was pretty good! should have gotten the American nod. bartender were friendly and attentive. I wish they had sold me one of the IPA glasses, it was groovy. ?
That was my second visit, this time for lunch. I had the French toast while my friend had the chicken and waffles. Both meals were more than we could eat and were fresh and tasty. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating and brought us Mimosas on tea and water. The ambience is warm and welcoming. We had a delicious lunch, we were not rushed at all and will definitely return.
The service is always quite good here. Here, too, food is very unique. We were here as a group and it was my second event in this place. The steak was perfectly cooked for me and we even had some more options for people who cooked their steak a little more. The salmon was moist and fleshy. I didn't tip the shrimps and the grits around, but it didn't look like the usual shrimps and grits. The dessert was a banana pudding and it was nothing special. In fact, the bananas were under ripe and almost leathery. I'd give it 4.8 if I could, but I'm not going to restaurants just for dessert. The atmosphere in this place is always wonderful.
We came here for brunch on Sunday and I must say that this place is absolutely delicious. Food is relatively good priced and lots of homemade fresh items. Had the country fried steak and eggs which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken biscuits which were amazing as well. Can't beat the $2.50 mimosas on Sunday either. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast if you're looking for something good and fresh. Will definitely be coming back to try their supper menu.
