Perks Coffee - Marietta

If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. I had heard good things about it being a nice spot for studying, but I never got the chance to find out for myself. A woman outside told me I wasn't allowed to enter with "outside food or drink." I had a Starbucks coffee in my hand and didn’t realize it would be an issue. How could she know I wasn’t planning to purchase something inside? After that interaction, there's no way I would consider buying anything from them. She was quite rude as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I absolutely adore Perks Coffee and Nom Station. I often find myself stopping by to enjoy their turkey croissant or teriyaki chicken power bowl. The turkey croissant is a delightful mix of pesto, tomatoes, and Swiss cheese—an iconic and tasty combination, and the croissant itself is always fresh and flaky. The power bowl is equally refreshing, making it a perfect choice for summer days. Their drinks are also fantastic; I particularly love the strawberry limeade. This place is ideal for a quick lunch or even a leisurely weekend brunch. The staff is incredibly friendly, and on one visit, the owners were there and took the time to thank us personally for supporting their small business. If you're considering dropping by, you definitely should—it's well worth it!

I ordered a dirty chai latte, but I forgot to specify whether I wanted it hot or cold, and it was 90 degrees outside. The barista decided to make it hot. When I told her I had meant to order it iced, she said it was no problem, and I figured I’d just drink the hot version. When she called me over to pick up the new order, I noticed that my hot drink was already empty. It was obvious that she had poured the hot drink into a new cup and added ice. As expected, the ice melted immediately, leaving me with a watered-down beverage. I asked her if she had just added ice to the hot drink, and she said no. She offered me more ice because the first batch had melted so quickly. Now I have a dirty chai that’s 75% water. Thanks for that.

Customer service lacks politeness. My friend's cappuccino was hardly quarter cup filled, he showed it to them, all they had to do was make another one, but they firmly refused to even acknowledge the problem.We are a running club that chose this place as a meetup point, but now moving somewhere else because of this rudeness. Venue is good and my drip coffee was decent, but this was my last trip.

The menu looks good but the execution was disappointing. We waited over 10 minutes in an empty room for a simple bagel that was barely toasted. The coffee tasted burnt and upcharge for everything. The hash wrap is a good portion but really lacked flavor. Overall not worth the price!Food: 2/5
