We had an amazing experience at Charbonneau sugar Shack ! It 's the best sugar Shack we have being so far! The Service is amazing. We arrived around 10h30am without reservation and they quickly accommodate us in a perfect spot inside of the chalet with a...perfect view. The service inside is quick and really friendly. They explain us how they work, it 's all you can eat and they bring the perfect amount of food all the time. The food is delicious, with three services and we finish really tasty desserts where we can use all the maple sirup we want !!! The value is just right for the amazing experience and we get coupons to taste the apple ciders and to get all maple syrup taffy on snow we can eat! After we ate, we took a small Train/Truck that get us to the Cider taste, which was delicious and then back to the sugar Shack chalet you have many activities for children, small animals and we could check all the Maple Sap Buckets around. They also have good products to buy in two stores, one near the cider and other one near the restaurant/chalet. It was an amazing experience and we had a fun and blessed day. The parking is FREE and they always guide you to parking. Tip: Make a reservation and Go early if you want walk around with less people. The rest, just ENJOY ! :
45 minutes outside of Montreal but well worth the trip. My first sugar shack meal and I think I may have been spoiled: extremely friendly staff that speak both French and English (I have very poor, west coast French food was amazing, although...I had to get used to dunking, pouring, soaking everything in maple syrup but by the end of the meal I was pretty into it. like most all you can eat meals, especially the ones that highly gut regional cuisine (like a maritime meal , you need to pace yourself and lock into the things you really like. I loved the tourtiere (with maple syrup of course with baked beans. my fave dessert was the mini donuts and buckwheat pancakes with caramel sauce (yes, something without maple syrup! very clean dining area and like I said, very friendly staff
Excellent place for a wedding or any reception! Food, service, location, relationship with the team, everything was perfect! We liked the opportunity to do have our photoshoot in the apple tree field next to the sugar shack, the outdoor installation for the ceremony, and the...wonderful style of the room for the dinner. We didn't have to add any decoration inside! They were also really understanding of our needs as a multicultural group and arrange different menus to accommodate us. If you are looking for a place that with an experienced team that you can trust, I invite you to go there!!! 5 stars!
This restaurant is a must-visit for out-of-town guests looking to experience authentic Quebec and Canadian sugar cabin dishes at an amazing price. It's a great place to spend a day trying maple syrup, maple butter, and other Quebec delicacies. You can also buy homemade food and souvenirs to take home. Don't miss out on trying the maple caramel on snow - it's a fantastic experience for couples and families alike.
