My wife and I stopped by around 9:30pm on 6/2/18 to get our fix and gal that served us was the most uninterested customer service person I have ever encountered. Her attitude from the start was as if we were imposing on her just being there, then she haphazardly threw the toppings on top, missing the container and the chocolate just oozed down the side of the contsiner. Doesn't wipe it up, just turns it and makes a bigger mess. Had to put our own to-go tops on(whatever, no biggie) then she flung the bag on the counter and let my wife bag it up. As she grabbed my card to pay, I asked if I could put in my member number, she swiped it and told me it was too late. I know this is a fro-yo joint, but have a little pride in your job. This girl just couldn't be bothered.
This Pinkberry has been here for ages, and they?ve remained a great spot to get some healthy frozen yogurt. Costs about $6 for a small yogurt with a couple toppings. They?re not self serve and never will be. Perfectly cut fruit, super tiny pieces so that you can get a variety and each bite can taste a little different. You can get all sorts of chocolate toppings, coconut flakes, sprinkles and nuts. They carry seasonal flavors, like pumpkin during the fall, of course.
I love Pinkberry. It is always so tasty and fresh. The price made me drop my business for them. A few years ago it was like 3 bucks for a small and 3.50 for a small with toppings. Which is reasonable for some yogurt. But now it is literally 7 bucks for a small with toppings. And no, inflation did not double all prices in 5 years. Was chipotle 4.50 5 years ago? It was not. They raise their prices a few cents a year which totally makes sense, but a 2x hike in the price is ridiculous. It just doesn?t make sense when I can go to Ralph?s (right next door) and get a tub of Haggen daz for, debatably some of the tastiest and fresh ice cream, for like 4 bucks. Sorry, Pinkberry. Lower your prices and you will get more business, making you more profitable and an overall better rated business.
Through all my years of wandering this mortal coil, I have never lent my valuable patronage to Pinkberry. Recently however, my beloved friends were tragically turned away in their most dire hour of need. Craving a delicious creamy treat, they begged the employees of this wretched establishment that they might be lent some grace and compassion over their late arrival. Asking only for a morsel of overpriced yogurt before they closed, their request was simple. They were denied that right, and that is why I must deny Pinkberry the four stars that this review lacks.
Love coming here once and a while and treating myself. low calorie count and the mango just fruit is incredible with the original. staff is really nice and the outdoor seating has nice ambience (classical music playing, spacious, pretty tables, etc). definitely recommend this place
