Hungry Brother Bbq - Marion

During my drive from Mississippi to Maryland, I used voice search to find the nearest barbecue joint and stumbled upon Hungry Brother. I'm really glad I did! The downtown area is charming and has a nostalgic vibe that I absolutely love. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, and my server was friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. If I find myself in that area again, I will definitely stop by. I'm very satisfied with my experience!

Fantastic food! We ordered a BBQ baked potato and a brisket sandwich with sides. The pulled pork in the potato was exceptional. Each table has a selection of sauces, and my favorites were the lil’ kick and the Carolina mustard. Don’t miss their collard greens and BBQ beans. The waitress was really friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. I wish we could come back here! Plus, it's very budget-friendly.

This restaurant excels at preparing brisket. I highly recommend it!

Traveling through town we walked in the door not knowing what to expect and walked out big fans! Live bluegrass music set the scene as skilled and hardworking waitresses handled a packed house with ease. Our drinks were always full and our bellies were more than satisfied with the delicious BBQ. Four small and hungry kids aren’t usually the most welcome restaurant addition but we were treated with kindness and helpfulness throughout our visit. I strongly recommend this establishment!

Food and service were good, deserts also! That banana pudding was special!!
