Mackie's Pizza - Marion

Mackie's a puppet. I traveled over an hour to eat here so often. I'd say they have the best pizza in southern Illinois. One thing I particularly appreciate here is the clean bathroom that also has hot flowing water. Too often I go to wash my hands in a restaurant and I am hit with water that is not able to warm, so I am very in places with warm water. And the staff is polite and helpful. Overall, it is just a really beautiful place; and if you have ever visited for Christmas, you will notice the beautiful decorations! They are known for that.

Delicious local cuisine. Pizza was fantastic and they didn't disappoint the crowd of blows. Also the Italian salad. The dressing was a sweet Italian vinaiigrette and probably one of the best I ever had.

The pizza was good, it wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad. They used tomato paste it was a Ted to thick for the thin pizza residue. The comb of pizza could have some aroma. Some cheese or turns it into garlic bread or something to add some taste could have gone a long way. The service warns the best we have set ourselves fast, but then I think that they forget about us, the fanily next to the use (about 8 people) got there order taken maybe 5 minutes sitting down. Will my party(2 others) had already waited for 15min. The atmosphere was great the layout and the decorations was quite amazing.

My wife said it might be the best veggie pizza she's ever had. Boneless wings were good too. Interesting interior, very different and spacious inside. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
