I had sesame noodles (gf). Husband had Kung Pao Beef. He said it was the best he had in a while. The noodles were a little under seasoned for me, but a little gf tamari sauce and it was also very delicious. The best dinner we had in a long time.
The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Server was friendly and patient with us, especially if I had a difficult time to make a decision on food. He also answered our questions and gave explanations whenever we asked. I had the Snow Roll and Egg Drop Soup. The Snow Roll was a bit for me, but still very tasty and satisfying overall. The egg drop soup was fantastic and will be a clear new order for me. Overall, if you are looking for a nice place to din with good food and welcoming staff, I would recommend here.
Later about 3 weeks before a work trip. I tried this restaurant for the first time. I'm glad I made it! My 13-year-old daughter even ate it and it was good. We had a few dishes, chicken salad packs, chicken dumplings, Bok Choi and roasted tofu, and sweet and sour chicken. The waiter was busy with other tables and we wanted him to come to us more, but it's a great place to eat. Must go if you like Asian food. We met a nice lady there and spoke while waiting for her order. Overall beautiful experience.
We have come to Mandarin Spice for some time now to order parking Sushi (it is kind of a date night for us)! Tonight was the first night we decided to dinate, thought the whole menu was open again for Din in. My mistake if I read a picture of the menu quickly! The reason for this is that this is important because we have excited to order all our favorite sushi only to quickly recognize. So completely embarrassing, we had to tell Logan our waiters that we would just order an appetizer and then order the rest of our food Togo! I was so embarrassed, but Logan was really such a big waiter and didn't leave us unwilling at all! We still have the dunes in experience while we wait for our appetizers and our appetizer food. He was funny, friendly, friendly and overall still very attentive to us! Most places you go and order often do not take so much attention, leave us the face that is because most people do not tap for the payout. So I don't owe people! But Logan didn't treat us differently! I also want to add that the dumplings are by far the best I have ever had in Iowa. I love a real dumpling, but I didn't find a place that makes them perfect! This! They are not weak on the filling and of course the sauce is to die! At any rate, great experience and the first time that we really have the feeling woven so it was time to correct a positive review! Logan really stood out, and the food is always amazing even if Togo!
We ordered a lot and everything was excellent: red bean sesame balls, general tso chicken w/rice, korean BBQ chicken w/fried rice, and crazy spicy tuna roll. Everything was served quickly and cooked perfectly. This place has definitely improved over the last few years. They're always packed Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, there were at least 15 people waiting inside the entrance so we decided to come back when it was less crowded during the middle of the week. That's probably why our food came out so fast. We have not tried to eat there during the weekends yet to see how fast they serve the food when they're crowded.
