Miner's Roadhouse 140 - Mariposa

Food was bland, one dish had hair in it, service was subpar. On top of that it was overpriced.

This place is the epitome of a small town diner in the best way! Service was outstanding; the most outgoing, kind, and attentive waitresses. We had Stephanie who was an absolute delight. The Bigfoot Breakfast Burrito (BBB) is so delicious and the salsa recipe here is to die for. We loved getting to eat here for our little trip to Mariposa! Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: We have many food allergies in my family ranging from fish to peanuts so finding a safe place to eat is always difficult. We had no problems here! And weren’t limited to a few options that are safe, the menu is great! Parking: Always open! Kid friendliness: Kids totally welcome, casual dining atmosphere that welcomes all!

This is the type of restaurant that you would see on Kitchen Nightmares, I wish I was kidding. The restaurant was extremely dirty and it smelled like a carpeted arcade that has never had a wash before. The food was extremely bland however, if you’re looking for a quick bite of fries, the fries were decent but nothing to write home about. The service was excellent and the woman who assisted us was extremely kind and attentive. I would avoid this restaurant as much as possible. We weren’t able to get any reception and came here to eat on a whim because it didn’t seem that busy. It is on prime real estate so we figured we’d give it a chance since the owners had enough sense to open a restaurant on a high traffic area. It seems that’s where the sense stopped because the potato skins I had were the worst and most overpriced ones I’ve ever consumed. It also seems that they’re counting on older or low reception tourists to walk in.

We ordered hashbrowns, eggs, biscuits with gravy and french toast and somehow none of it had any taste. Im 99% they didnt use any seasoning. whats even weirder is the syrup had no flavor either. The only thing that tasted ok was the orange juice. very disappointing visit

The food sizes are pretty big, food itself is not the most flavorful but not bad. The blonde waitress however was a little rude, she also didn’t seem to care too much about her guests either…..
