The Barrhead - MARKDALE

Very sad to say tonight was my very first night going to this restaurant and not realizing it is closing tomorrow for good : . The atmosphere was great. The staff were incredible and so was the food. I especially loved their fries! Sad I have discovered it so late considering I live in the area but wishing everyone the best in the next chapter. I had an amazing experience there tonight! : Thank you guys.

Was there during a very busy rush at opening. The staff we very accommodating, friendly, and polite. The food was amazing! We sat outside on the patio listening to the water falls. A really enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back.

A fantastic find just outside of Markville, Ontario. Sat outside and enjoyed a club sandwich. Sounds of the waterfall on the property made for a relaxing lunch break.

We went there to dine out for my Birthday. The fish chips weren't bad, but there seemed to be way too many small overcooked pieces of fries that came with the order. There also wasn't really much of a menu selection. My parents use to visit the Barrhead many times during their lifetime. It was always a special place for me for the memories. This was my first visit back since it has been done over. I was a little disappointed, it wasn't what I expected.

The back patio is beautiful, they had a chill vibe with the musician playing. That mixed with yummy cocktails, whats not to like!
