So unique and yummy everytime. Pasta and noodle dishes are great too, their flavours never disappoint. (also love that they always put so many mushrooms in some of their dishes) Service is always amazing. At my most recent visit the kitchen accidentally put cheese instead of dairy free cheese on my pizza and they gave us free nachos for the extra wait! Really appreciated the gesture. Will be back again and again.
One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants! A collection of dishes from around the world focused mainly on western and Asian cuisine. I love the Japanese curry here, the sauce is rich, thick, and full of flavour. Try it teppanyaki style which comes with a beyond meat patty, sunny side up egg, veggies all on a hot skillet where you can choose the option for curry and fries. Using the curry as a dipping sauce for the fries is oh so satisfying. Also try the mushroom wings which are big, fried with a flaky crust and paired with some spicy Buffalo sauce and blue cheese dip. They have an awesome kids menu with a lot of value. It comes with an entree, drink, and ice cream which are all big sizes. Can't wait to come back as usual.
Came here for lunch when we were in the area, and was pleasantly surprised how good the vegetarian cuisine here is!! Ever since we became vegetarian 3 years ago, I've been craving japanese style curry fried pork cutlet rice from time to time, and have not been able to find a vegetarian option until we came here...and they did not disappoint! The plant-based fried pork cutlet tasted almost identical to the actual ones based from what I could remember, and it was really delicious, the hot plate egg and black pepper beef rice dish was also really good, we will definitely come back again!
This is becoming my favourite vegetarian restaurant in GTA! Still making our way through their whole menu but loving everything so far. The portions are very big and make up for slightly higher prices. They also have daily specials and lunch specials that come with a side salad/soup and drink. Service is always friendly and attentive. Some must tries: Katsu curry with omurice, the katsu is so crispy and some of the best imitation meat I?ve ever had!! The okonomiyaki pizza is very flavourful and filling. Their fries are always made super crispy. The chicken nuggets are also so similar to real chicken nuggets, I was mind blown. I see a bunch of takeout orders every time I dine in here. Definitely dine in for the Katsu omurice.
Overall highly recommend! They definitely know how to batter and fry. I recommend the omurice and pizzas. Pros: Great vibes and aesthetics Very sweet customer service and lots of ways to reach them email, chat, phone Reasonable prices for the quality it 's not cheap eats but it definitely feels like it was worth it Compared to other vegetarian/vegan restaurants I 've tried, it doesn 't seem like the plant based food is a novelty but more something well thought out Many customizable options, everything can be adapted to be vegan (although there is no vegan egg so the omurice can only be changed to a salad of mixed greens) Very good! I was pleasantly surprised because I really enjoyed the imitation meats. The imitation beef in my pho tasted more like beancurd but I didn 't mind, and it was fried very well. The fried chicken in curry with the omurice was battered and fried to a thin but crispy and dense layer I really liked that. The imitation salmon sashimi doesn 't have the same tender consistency of real salmon sashimi but I actually really enjoyed it (it feels like agar or konjac). The okonomiyaki pizza was so good, the crust was tender and crispy and the rest was very savoury. Decent portions, you will be full The craft beer selection was small but the two we got were quite nice, and the lychee mocktail was very sweet but it was still good Cons: Pho noodles were all broken or cut up for some reason? Not a huge con I suppose but it changes the experience when it 's more like eating spoonfuls of pieces of noodles rather than slurping long strands Small 'con ' but I felt the fried sushi with imitation salmon was less sushi and more just a fried rice patty haha I suppose you can use the definition of sushi loosely though. EDIT: I wrote this review like a month ago but I forgot to hit the Post button! Since then we have gotten takeout twice and it 's so good. I recommend getting the specials for two or more people. The staff are so great and passio
