Recently, I have found it disappointing because the portion sizes keep getting smaller. Additionally, the variety of dishes seems to be decreasing as well. We have been regular customers for many years and have consistently tried to give this place more chances.
Amid rising inflation, one would expect prices to go up without compromising food portions. However, Calabria has shockingly cut the size of their large pasta to half, leaving the container not even filled to the top, all while raising the price! What used to be enough to serve two people now barely feeds one. I ended up paying $24.85 for a "large" pasta and two pieces of Parmesan chicken!
What a delightful place to savor an espresso and a homemade dessert! What more could you ask for? Perhaps some tasty traditional Italian cuisine!
This charming and cozy café is easy to find. I stopped by on a weekday afternoon while waiting for my number at the Service Ontario store. The atmosphere was very inviting, though the pastry selection was somewhat limited. I ordered a house coffee and some Nutella pastries that looked absolutely irresistible! The coffee was reasonably priced, and both the croissants and donuts were $3.00 each. I particularly appreciate that they offer fresh bread and food available for purchase right on the premises.
