Druxy's Famous Deli - Markham

Three people from our office went to the line and checked the Druxys menu. Everything looked great. We liked the fact that we could build our sandwich. Printing the order form with the details of each sandwich I was impressed by the lightness, the...order to this place. When I came there, they had never seen the form that came from their website and 60% of the selected ingredients were NOT REASON. Bad choice on bread selection and did not get the additional pages advertised (Pickle, Veggie Sticks, Etc).

It may be difficult to locate this restaurant as it is hidden within the hangars at Buttonville airport. If you're not actively searching for it, chances are you won't stumble upon it. I tried the smoked meat sandwich and found it to be decent, but not exceptional. It was a bit too salty for my liking. Perhaps my expectations were too high after trying Kaplansky's.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a sandwich that was advertised as the best of all time, but it turned out to be incredibly dry and bland. It lacked any condiments such as butter, mustard, or mayo. I was so unsatisfied that I ended up throwing it out of my car window.

I have been a loyal customer of this chain for many years. This particular location was excellent, just like most of their other branches - quick service, friendly staff, and deliciously fresh bread, meat, and spices. The pastrami and roast meats were to die for! Served on rye bread, it was as good if not better than many of the downtown Montreal delis!

I usually get the Turkey on dark rye, comes to about $7.
