Happy Tea House - Markham

My first time trying the Black Tea with Salted Cheese and I love it! I couldn't taste any salt or cheese in the drink at all, when I stirred the drink it just tastes like really good milk tea, maybe slightly creamier than other places.

I tried the matcha latte with tiramisu salted cheese and was quite disappointed. Firstly it oddly tasted like chocolate. It didn't really have the Salted cheese taste that other bubble tea shops have. The matcha flavor was mild. And it definitely did look like chocolate milk foam on matcha latte base. I don't think I will come back to this place again. The Taste was not that good and it was also very expensive.

I was honestly not satisfied with this place at all. It was my first time and the drinks weren't bad but the service was so bad. The girl took my Order was rude and wanted me to hurry up even though I was the only person in line. I was confused what to get as it was my first time. Drinks were okay but not the best and definitely pricey! I've had better bubble tea from other locations.

Happy Lemon has become my new favourite place for a sweet and refreshing drink! This location inside of Pacific Mall is great for grabbing a drink while browsing the many shops. If you prefer to sit, there are a couple of seats and two small tables. Even though there was only one person working when I went, she was efficient in taking our orders and making our drinks. Oreo Milk Tea perfect combination of Oreo Milk Tea taste. Neither is diluted and the two compliment each other perfectly. I thought it would taste weird but I actually enjoyed it. It reminds me of The Alley's Garden Milk Tea but this tastes much better! Milk Tea with Pudding, Bubble and Lychee Jelly I'm a huge fan of original milk tea with pudding. It's my go to order regardless of which shop I go to. The lychee jelly intrigued me so I decided to try this drink instead. I personally wouldn't order this again. The lychee jelly is good in that it has quite a sweet and strong lychee taste. However, I think this diluted the taste of the milk tea so I wouldn't recommend it. The milk tea taste was stronger in the Oreo Milk Tea. The lychee jelly would taste excellent in one of the fruitier drinks.

An additional note, I tried the grapefruit lemon slushy honestly it tastes relatively the same as the mango lemon slushy. I tried the mango matcha latte today it is my favourite drink so far. Unlike a latte, this drink actually had a very thick consistency similar to a slush. With this drink specifically they did a really good job combining the matcha and mango. At first the mango is evident then the matcha flavour kicks in. It's really refreshing not overly sweet. PS don't get the tapioca, it's usually really soft not that great
