Mr Sun Tea - Markham

Asked for one signature Maruo bean milk tea with less ice and they gave one with extra ice instead. When questioned if the order was correct, staff lied to cover it up even though they wrote extra ice on side of cup. Did not offer to re-make drink. Ended up with a heavily watered down drink. Long wait time despite low number of customers/drinks ahead of order. Very disappointing. Would rate zero stars if possible.

New place at Pmall. Not a wide selection. The person working that day didn't greet us, and didn't inform us ahead of time that there's no more mochi, we were a bit disappointed since we were there for that : but other than that the service was good, the drinks are just okay the bean bean drink), and the tapioca is good.

Tried the Sago Cream with Mango and it was okay, a bit on the sweet side. Wasn't given the choice to alter the level of sweetness so might ask about it next time. Also, it wasn't sago but jelly chunks. Personally, I would prefer it to be sago instead of jelly to be more similar to the dessert. They have a pop up mart vending machine with mini collectibles if you wanted to purchase them. Next time, I'll try the Maruo Bean Milk Tea!

Rating: 4.0/5.0 This is one of the newer places that I have tried this year. In terms of tea flavour, I would say it is average to slightly above average range relative to other places. My go to drink is the Marou Bean Milk Tea. It has milk foam on top and comes with a skewer of mochis. It is quite unique and the drink is more like a dessert rather than a traditional bubble tea. Tapioca could be bouncier in texture. I have also tried their fruit tea and it is definitely a good option as well you can definitely taste the tea flavour with a nice refreshing feel from the oranges, watermelon, limes, strawberries etc. Overall I recommend trying this place and perhaps you will find yourself a drink that you will come back for!

Tried the maruo bean milk and bean bean milk. Absolutely the worst I tried in Toronto. Even no sugar is too sweet and the maruo and cheese creama have a weird taste. Definitely won’t come back.
