Good neighbourhood restaurant. No fancy decor but price and portion is reasonable. Many dishes are under $20. Steamed duck with taro and plum sauce and Steamed eel with black bean sauce are good.
I went with my coworkers for lunch. The food was below average and the service was worse. It might have been better if the waitress got the orders correct but she just assumed that everything we wrote down for the order was from the lunch menu even though we were provided with both lunch and normal.Eventually after we told them enough times that it was the wrong order, she told us of how she listed all our orders as lunch items but she didn't even apologize for it?Definitely no plans to ever return again.
All lunch specials are served with complimentary tea (Hong Kong style milk tea) at reasonable portions and prices. All items I have tried were great tasting, especially their curry beef brisket rice (a lot of other restaurants do not include tea or coffee with this dish). Also, complimentary soup of the day may be available upon request. Yum!The only complaint I have is that they are normally subpar in the speed of serving my order but that's kind of understandable, given inadequate staffing level they've got.
Food was ok and the taro duck is tasty but the star lost was due to the restaurant not being honest they had clients smoking in the private room. When they opened the door the smell of smoke was so bad even other patrons can smell it. We were right next to the door. Then they lied to us no one was smoking when we complained. They just moved us to another table. Better options elsewhere. Won't come back.
