I stumbled upon this small restaurant while I was in the neighborhood and I'm so happy that I did. I decided to try the penne with rose sauce.
We recently had the pleasure of trying Saturday brunch at a charming bakery nestled in a corner of townhouses.
Saw this place on FB and decided to try it as there are no Portuguese places in Markham. Its a small cafe, and they only had all day breakfast on the weekend I went. I heard during the week there are more selections. The fried appetizers are delicious, one of the best I ever had, a bit on the pricey side but I guess you have to pay for hand made. The soup was DELISH! We also ordered some bread to take home and they were also very good. Kept fresh for days bagged up properly. Its small and that day we went a lot was sold out by lunch. Its a great spot and the workers are very nice and accommodating. I would definitely come back again for a meal or just to buy some Portuguese specialties. Lovely spot.
This is one of my favourite places to get coffee and cake. They have a nice selection from dufflets a few times a week so the pastries are always fresh. Their Portuguese egg tarts are a favourite with everyone who visits the bakery. Coffee is good as well. Their yummy soup is freshly made from scratch every day. The service is great .I wish they opened later than 6pm
