Tropicana Caribbean Cuisine - Markham

I've eaten here twice and both were good meals, home cooked style and very good value when you can have them as a lunch special. It is also a nice experience to eat your meal at one of the tables.There is always regular customers coming in and bantering with the owner and staff, good island music playing in the background to entertain you as you enjoy your meal.For lunch, this is a good destination, or for take out, too. I plan to return to try more chicken dishes. Hope you give it a try as well.Lunch meal for two with drinks is under 18 bucks. Not bad! GFB

The doubles are the worst, most pathetic and insulting item I have ever been served in a restaurant. I waited nearly 15 minutes and got two doubles for $3.95 with the most anemic, sad looking barras with a teaspoon of dry chick peas inside. Drive to McCowan, Bellamy, anywhere but here.

Just ordered and ate dinner from this restaurant with family, goat roti, veggi roti, ox tail, bbq chicken, phulourie, and fried dumpling! Great food, will definitely order again!

My husband and I have been craving decent Caribbean cuisine for a while in this area and we have always had to travel to Scarborough to fill these cravings. This restaurant opened in our area not too long ago and we were all over it! Our favourite dish is the chicken roti but all the food there is enticing and we stray to other options when we can. The prices are reasonable for the food you get and we are now regular customers.Enjoy, you won't be disappointed.
