Pork Belly’s Grill - Marksville

I order some fish because it was burnt cold and hard. I had some Military friends with me, and closed to go to my grandparents home town resturant. I will never go there any more.. They didn't even have menu's.

Fried fish was great, way too over priced for what we thought we were getting based on reviews and pictures though. Maybe we just went at a bad time. The platter wasn’t a platter literally just fish and fries, and my catfish avoyelles which is one of my favorite meals to get at most Cajun restaurants. Was literally a pice of fish on a bed of rice . Had almost no etoufee anywhere, and not a single crawfish tail in my plate. Didn’t look anything like anyone else’s pictures.

Service was awful, food was awful. We actually paid our bill, left the food at the table and walked out.

This was our first time. The young lady welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. But our waitress need more training, she brought our appetizers to the table and I had to request plates, ask for to go containers, she had no personality. Training is everything to keep customers coming back. The color of money is green. All in all, we will return, the food and ambience is good.

Great service , we had osso Boco, it was excellent. We shared and we're full. Come out quick. Finished off w Bourbon pecan pie. Yum
