I ordered the mixed chicken platter and a large Mediterranean salad. The chicken was fresh and tasty, served with rice and roasted tomatoes. It was missing bulgur, but the menu indicated it was only available upon request. The Mediterranean salad was fresh, but unfortunately, they forgot the feta cheese. The salad seemed more like a basic mixed salad, rather than a true Mediterranean salad. Despite these small issues, the food was good overall. The meal came with plenty of pita bread and two sauces: a watery white sauce (possibly Turkish) and a tasty spicy sauce. I recommend this place, but make sure to double-check your order before leaving. Update: I had a great experience with the owner, who was attentive and caring. I'm upgrading my rating to 5 stars. We need more restaurants like this that value their customers. Thank you!
I wouldn't recommend this place for wraps. It seems like they were too busy to give proper attention to the food, maybe because of their small grill. When I visited, there was an older man with a crew cut and a young girl working the front. The old man's attitude was not great, and the young girl seemed inexperienced. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
We loved trying out new places in the neighborhood. Galata's food is fresh and delicious. We will be making this place a regular weekend night dinner place
Got takeout here on Sunday night didn’t notice that it was takeout only, maybe add that information to your Updates section so that it’s easier to notice. Waited about 35 minutes for two combo plates and babaganoush. My chicken Adana and lamb shish combo was good, not great lamb shish was definitely over marinated because it was way too lemony and the texture was mushy soft (on par with what happens with overmarination).
