I had heard good things about this restaurant, but when I arrived at 5pm on a Saturday night, we were the only customers. The waitresses seemed disinterested and one of them even shuffled her feet as she walked. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like a knife, soy sauce, duck sauce, and sugar. The door was left open, allowing flies to bother us throughout our meal. The tea and Egg Drop Soup were lukewarm, the dry noodles were stale, and there was no atmosphere or music playing. The food was mediocre at best, and unfortunately my husband got sick from it just two hours later. We will not be returning to this restaurant. The phone order was extremely slow. The service was lacking, but the food was excellent for a takeout dinner. The atmosphere also left something to be desired.

This place has very authentic offerings! If you live in the area, you 'll know that you only have a handful of choices to choose from, so definitely don 't pass this by. Yes, they offer the typical American-Chinese cuisine that most Asians do not go for, but consider any of the specials on their menu and you 'll be able to try something authentic even if you do not speak or read Chinese. If you do speak/read Chinese, the experience will be very common sense. Don 't let some of the nomenclature scare you either. A fish casserole on their menu is not what you think it is at all. It 's really good! Try it out for yourself, ask what the staff recommends, and you 'll have a great Sichuan-style meal.
