Trattoria Brioso - Marlboro

While this restaurant receives high marks overall, they tend to accommodate too many large groups on the same night. Having a table for four next to a table for ten can detract from the dining experience. On busy evenings, it’s not always possible to switch tables.

The service was excellent, and our entrees were served warm. However, they could use more spices for added flavor. I also found the atmosphere to be quite loud.

We had a wonderful dining experience the other evening, complemented by excellent service. The staff were very flexible when my wife requested some modifications and asked to split a salad special. It had been a couple of years since our last visit, and we’ve always enjoyed their food—I’m not sure why we stopped coming, but we definitely plan to return more frequently. However, we’ll avoid the middle of winter, as they tend to leave the doors open, making the restaurant quite drafty and noisy. I can handle the noise, but the cold drafts are a different story.

The food was fantastic! I liked it so much I recommended it to my friends and I am going back on 2-28!!!

We have dined here numerous times since I moved into the area over 20 years ago. we have always found the food to be outstanding. The restaurant can be slightly crowded and noisy. My main complaint with the restaurant is the service. We have frequently found the service to be sub par. The waiters have most of the time been friendly but not very attentive to our needs.it is a major problem if our waiter is also serving a large party.The time before we were at the restaurant the waiter kept apologizing for ignoring us. We can make a request but it sometimes doesn't get addressed until we ask again.We ate there two nights ago and the food was outstanding. I ordered the branzino and my wife ordered the swordfish off of the specials list. Both dishes were very fresh and well prepared. We had to call the bus(lady) over to ask for more bread. She acknowledged but took the bread plates away! The appetizers came out pretty quickly, but the entrees took a very long time. Generally I would appreciate if the waiter would come over to give us an update. It didn't happen. After we finished it took a long time for the waiter to come to our table to ask if we wanted desserts. Overall it was a good experience and we would definitely return despite the service.
