Hot Table - Marlborough

This is the top spot in town for delicious paninis! The ingredients are very fresh and I highly recommend trying them out.

The restaurant was very crowded, which I suppose is a positive sign. I appreciated that one staff member stayed with me from the moment I was greeted to when I placed my order, and then they returned to the kitchen. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I asked for Chipotle Mayo instead of regular Mayo, which was tasty. There was a bit too much cheese for my liking, so next time I will request less. The prices were a bit high, but I guess $12 for a sandwich is considered normal these days.

I was uncertain about trying out this restaurant, but it turned out to be really good and a great option for a special lunch treat! This place is unique, as it is not your typical sandwich shop like Subway. Instead, they specialize in paninis with interesting and delicious combinations. My favorites were the Cubano, chicken pesto, and southwest chicken paninis. The pricing may seem straightforward, but the small size is quite small, the medium is large, and the large is huge. Opt for a medium if you are hungry, and a large if you are very hungry or want leftovers. The sandwiches are filled with hot, cheesy goodness and overall very satisfying. There are some unusual combinations on the menu, so take your time to choose the right one for you. The southwest chicken, with chipotle mayo, cheese, tomato, and pickles, even includes salami, which surprisingly works well together. I recommend giving this place a try for good portion sizes, reasonable prices, and superior quality compared to Subway and similar chains.

Great place. I just wish that their grilled chicken would be a little more cooked. It doesn 't have any 'grill ' brown marks and it leans more toward being boiled than grilled. Also I noticed that different branches has different protocols. For example the other Worcester shop cuts the chicken in much more smaller peices. At any rate, it is a place that I 'll visit again.

This is the top Panini spot in Marlborough! The Panini was scrumptious, the staff was friendly, and the tables and bathroom were spotless. I will definitely be returning.
