Sugar Plum Shoppe - Marlow

I ordered my daughters wedding cake and besen cheesecake from the Sugar Plum Shoppe, Marlow,OK... We couldn't have been satisfied anymore.the wedding cake was excellent...moist fresh...the groom key lime with raspberry topping was delicious...and they worked with Scott's Flowers in Lawton for the cake topper...both places were very professional... I would recommend both! My only problem is that I live 8 hours away, so I can not use them again.

We have everything we have ordered and more. The cake was delicious and beautiful. The bridegroom cake was better that we could imagine and at the end of the reception there was none left.

The word of advice make sure that someone is there who knows how your cake suspects to look and don't let them thrown out of the door onto you 5 seconds after throwing up the cake. I had jewels that were supposed to come from the top of my cake and cascade on one side, and the icing should be air-brushed silver... not what I got. When they brought the cake into them, she had white frosting and the jewels were still circled on wire and they just wrapped it around the cake and pressed it at several different angles. They were so eager to come to the wedding that they had to deliver before me that they did not take their time and less than 5 minutes after the jewels were placed on my cake they were flew out, along with about 1/4 of the trembling! I was shocked when I saw the terrible mess. The only way to fix the cake was by chance 8 of my middle piece of roses on the huge holes on the cake from where the icing was. I was embarrassed to serve the cake at my wedding. It wasn't worth the $300 we spent on it. My 6 year old niece could make the same cake from a box and decorate it better! The groom cakes and cupcakes we ordered were also the wrong color....hot pink and purple are not the same colors. I even gave the owner a spool of the band to match the color! If you are looking for a low class cake, find it with these people if not PLEASE are looking for someone else!
